Data Deletion Instructions for InboxHub
TikTok, Meta, Google, and other platforms require a clear way to disconnect apps and request deletion of stored data. This page explains how to disconnect channels and calendars from InboxHub and how to ask PaluHub to delete history from our systems.
1. Disconnect a channel from InboxHub
Workspace admins can remove channel access so InboxHub no longer receives new messages from that channel:
- Sign in to InboxHub (https://inbox.paluhub.com).
- Open Settings → Inboxes (or the equivalent Channels / Inboxes section).
- Select the TikTok, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or other connected inbox.
- Disconnect, revoke, or delete the inbox / channel connection as shown in the UI.
- Optionally, also revoke InboxHub access from the TikTok or Meta developer / business settings for your account or Page.
2. Disconnect the calendar
If you connected Google Calendar (or, when available, Microsoft 365 / Outlook):
- Disconnect the calendar integration in InboxHub so we stop reading or creating events.
- Also revoke access in your Google Account (Google Account → Security → Third-party apps) or, when the integration exists, in Microsoft.
- Events already created in Google or Microsoft are not deleted automatically; delete them there or include that scope in the email in section 3.
3. Request deletion of stored data
Disconnecting a channel or calendar stops new sync but may leave historical data in InboxHub. To request deletion of your data from PaluHub databases, email [email protected] with:
- Subject line: Data deletion request
- The email associated with your InboxHub account
- Organization / workspace name
- Channel(s) or calendar involved (e.g. TikTok, WhatsApp, Google Calendar) and any identifiers you have
- Whether you want full account deletion or only a specific channel or integration’s history
4. What we delete
After we verify your request, we delete or anonymize applicable data within thirty (30) days, including where feasible:
- Conversation messages and attachments stored for the requested scope
- Contact records primarily associated with the disconnected channel (when not shared with other active channels)
- OAuth tokens and credentials for the disconnected channel or calendar
- AI-related logs tied to those conversations or bookings, subject to short-lived operational backups
5. Timing
We aim to confirm receipt within a few business days and complete deletion within thirty (30) days of a verified request, unless a longer period is required by law or ongoing dispute resolution.
6. Automated platform callbacks
Some platforms offer an automated data-deletion callback when a user removes an app. InboxHub may add automated callback endpoints in the future. Until then, use the disconnect steps and email process above.
